Ken Daniels

Former landlord of the Fox & Hounds, and self confessed curmudgeon, Ken was born in Blackpool in 1945. His father was a baker & confectioner and his mother was mainly involved in market gardening. After much travelling in the late 60’s 70’s, he gravitated to Stony, moving here in 1991 and two years later, bought the leasehold & business of the Fox & Hounds. He soon established it as the place in town to go for good music (mostly of the blues & folk variety), good beer, good company, and just about everything else that’s good about an English pub. Since selling the pub, he’s continued to be involved in many of the events in Stony such as Stony Live, & C.L.A.S.S. Nowadays a lot of his time is taken up with being the Chairman of, and organising events here in York House, and during his tenure it’s gone from strength to strength.
